India is expected to emerge as the world’s third-largest passenger-vehicle market by 2021. It took India around seven years to increase annual production to four million vehicles from three million. However, the next milestone—five million—is expected in less than five years. Hitting that mark will depend on today’s rapid economic development continuing, with a projected annual GDP growth rate of 7 percent through 2020, ongoing urbanization, a burgeoning consuming class, and supportive regulations and policies.

With this growth in mind, we set out to build a perspective on the trends shaping the Indian market, the value proposition for the automobile industry in India, and imperatives for winning in the market.

With such an outstanding growth and ongoing issues with the automobile industry having a huge gap between demand and supply and around 95% falls under unorganised sector. One of the main reasons of such biggest gap in Fleet industry is right education though there are trainings available.

With the mission and sole motive of IIFM to eliminate the word Blue collar and white collar and establish one name for all i.e. FLEET PROFESSIONALS. This would be possible only when we bring a proper education system for industry. IIFM has two vertical- Educations and Reforms. Under education, IIFM will enhance and upgrade the knowledge of the existing fleet professionals and will educate the fresh fleet professionals so that the gap will not prevail in terms of demand and supply of man power and equally will help the industry will transform from conventional mode of operations to tech enabled operations.

IIFM will run various Government recognised courses as well as self-designed and professionally manged recognised courses to ensure a quality professional joins the industry.

Academic courses

1. NIOS Govt of India Managed certificate courses for upgrading and creating academic eligibility.

Descriptions- This certificate program will be executed under IIFM reforms and any existing persons working in transport field and aspirants doesn’t have secondary or Higher secondary certification will be assisted to obtain the same.

EDUCATION-Introductory Level Programme

Introductory Level Programme- (Freshers or Experienced but Freshers in Fleet Domain) Domain) This course is specially designed at all level considering our traditional mode of operations and will certainly take time for the complete change in an automated operation due to severe shortages of trained Manpower because of various reasons.

This will be a certificate level programme leading to the initial certificate in Fleet Management. This will be for all the trade professionals, whether involved directly or indirectly the mode of Fleet operations. The course will be mainly focussed on a comprehensive understanding of fleet management which is depreciating assets and revenue/profit can be generated only doing maximum optimization and controlling unbilled usages.

Advance level Certification

Advanced level certification course- 14 days course along with the Project-based curriculum of 30 days. This programme specially designed for a skill set education and training for a cohesive tactical and professional approach involving the effective management of an entire and large pool of fleet operations and management.

It will be complete Fleet management courses with PNL responsibility.

IIFM Flagship Leadership Program

Automobile industry is facing acute shortage of senior executives as industry has an experienced senior executive but still, they have lack of domain expertise. Looking at such huge gap between experience and trade expertise, IIFM is working on with international standard research institute to frame a special course for leadership which initially will start once in a year and followed by twice or thrice in a year. This will be most probably a five days’ workshop which will aim to create trade expertise for senior executives which will help them to lead their organisation on sustainable model as well as a scalable model to meet their budget.

DESCRIPTION

The Diploma in Fleet Management provides a consolidation of broad knowledge, skill and values needed in fleet management and associated fields e.g. transport and logistics. The programme will: -

    Driver Cum Mechanic Light Motor Vehicle

    There is also an ITI course for Driver cum mechanic lighter motor vehicle. The course is just 6 month long and you have to be 10th pass.
